Hb. Schizonepetae Jing Jie 3-10g Releases the Exterior, expels Wind and relieves itching.
With Huang Qin and Ju Hua, for eye inflammation associated with Wind-Heat.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 1.5-14g Clears Heat, relieves Fire toxicity and moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs.
Rx. Paeoniae Rubra Chi Shao 4.5-15g Clears Heat, cools and invigorates the Blood, dispels Blood Stasis and relieves pain.
With Chuan Xiong and Dang Gui, for abscesses, boils.
With Ju Huan and Huang Qin, for redness, pain and swelling of the eyes.
Flos Chrysanthemi Ju Hua 4.5-20g Disperses Wind, clears Heat, calms the Liver, clears the eyes, detoxifies and promotes the movement of Heart Qi and Blood.
With Chuan Xiong, for headache due to Wind-Heat or Liver Yang Rising.
Rz. Chuanxiong Chuan Xiong 3-10g Invigorates the Blood, promotes the movement of Qi, expels Wind and alleviates pain.
Rx. Angelicae Sinensis Dang Gui 3-15g Tonifies, invigorates and harmonizes the Blood, reduces swelling, expels pus, generates flesh and alleviates pain.
With Chuan Xiong, harmonizes, nourishes and invigorates the Blood and disperses Blood Stasis.
Caulis Akebiae Mu Tong 3-10g Drains Heart Heat through the Small Intestine.
